Market stall reservation and info on ground spots
Reserve your market stall
Currently, all market stalls are reserved. Therefore, you cannot reserve a stall online at this time. However, if you are interested in renting a stand, we can put your details on the reserve list. Please send an e-mail to facilitair@oranjemarktveldhoven.nl or call Pieter de Meijer at 06-40377404. If a stand becomes available, we will contact you.
The ground rules for market stalls
- Special rules apply to Market stall private and Market stall commercial. These can be found by clicking on the stall of your choice. In addition, general rules such as the house rules and the rules for cleaning up at the end of the day apply.
- Leave the rented market stall tidy afterwards. Take all unsold items and waste home again.
- Usable, unsold items may also be donated to Kringloop de Kempen. You will find the two trucks with representatives of the Kringloop near the artists’ entrance of the Schalm and on the Veken (near Burgemeester Elsenpark).
- Only after approval by the staff of Kringloop de Kempen you can actually leave your stuff at the trucks. All items not accepted have to be taken home.
Ground spot
If you come for a ground spot, you are welcome. You cannot enter the site by car to unload, but you can temporarily park your car at the loading & unloading bays. Afterwards, you can park in one of the parking spaces around the Citycentrum (see map). Always follow the instructions of our traffic controllers or Oranjemarkt volunteer. We are counting on your cooperation.
Point of Time
The free market will start from 10am. Building up is allowed from 07.30 am on King’s Day. As in other years, children and adults can sell stuff at the free market. You cannot register in advance for a ground space. Do come on time because full=full. A ground space is FREE.
Rules
- From 7:30 am the floor spaces may be built up, these are free so you may choose your own place (inside as well as outside). The Citypassage will be open from 8:00 am. PLEASE NOTE: You are not allowed to enter the Citycentrum by car, motor vehicle or trailer. Very important: Stay within the marked lines (or red/white ribbon), where the store entrance remains open. You are allowed a maximum of 2 meters to the front from the facade. Keep to this so that there is enough space for shoppers. If you do not follow these rules, you may be removed from the grounds. The floor spaces have a hard surface so make sure to bring your own rug/cushion/chair.
- Racks and/or other props may not exceed 1.50 meters in height.
- Commercial new merchandise may not be sold.
- Please be respectful of the storefronts of the merchants you stand against so we can make this a great event together.
- It would be nice if you park your car on Burgemeester van Hoofflaan so that there will be spaces available for visitors.
- Leave the floor space tidy after the event. Take all unsold items and waste back home with you.
