GENERAL
– Entering the Orange Market event area is at your own risk.
– Instructions from staff, security, police, atmosphere management and traffic controllers must be followed immediately at all times.
– The organisation is not liable for loss, theft, damage or destruction of visitors’ property.
– Film and photo registration will be carried out on the event grounds. By entering the grounds, you automatically consent to the capture and use of media by Oranjemarkt Veldhoven and our media partners for promotional purposes.
– Dogs are not allowed on the event grounds, with the exception of assistance dogs.
PROHIBITED IS
– Discriminatory behaviour based on culture, race, gender, gender identity, religion, disability or sexual orientation.
– Insulting, provocative, prohibited or offensive clothing, flags and/or banners.
– Unwanted harassment and any other form of sexual violence.
– Carrying weapons or similar objects, fireworks and pressure containers.
– Possession, trafficking and use of soft and hard drugs, narcotics and substances similar to them.
– Selling vapes (flavoured or unflavoured) and tobacco products.
– (Unprovoked) harassing, threatening or assaulting fellow visitors, or engaging in fights.
– Treating employees of the event unfairly, for example by scolding them, becoming handsy, threatening them or obstructing their work.
HORECA
– The Orange Fair complies with the provisions of Section 35 of the Licensing and Catering Act.
– During the event, the serving of weak alcoholic beverages is allowed, strong liquor is not allowed.
– The serving of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 18 is prohibited. It is also prohibited for persons under the age of 18 to buy, take or consume alcohol on the event grounds.
– Persons obviously under the influence of alcohol or who cause offence by their behaviour will be barred or refused entry.
– The use of glassware, cans and drinking utensils other than plastic is prohibited.
– Payment at the bars is possible only with Oranjemarkt consumption tokens, valid only during this year’s edition.
– Driving through or past roadblocks.
– Urinating in public is prohibited.
– Deliberately throwing or leaving rubbish on the street.
– Parking bicycles, mopeds and scooters outside the designated parking areas.
– Placing bicycles against or at fences. These will be removed!
– Handing out flyers, posting or collecting money for good causes without permission.
– Placing outdoor displays such as poster boards, beach flags or sales items by shops in the City Centre without permission.
– Consuming self-brought drinks is prohibited in the event area.
GROUND PITCHES
– Ground pitches may be set up from 07:30. These are free, so you may pick your own place, no reservations are allowed.
– Motor vehicles and trailers are not allowed in the centre, including for loading or unloading.
– Please stay within the marked lines (marked with tape) and ensure that the entrance to the shop remains sufficiently clear to allow sufficient space for shoppers and emergency services.
– Ground spaces have a hard surface, please provide your own rug.
– Racks or other attributes may not be higher than 1.40 metres. A maximum of 1 table may be placed with an area not exceeding 60×60 cm.
– Commercial trade and the sale of live animals, alcohol, food and beverages are not allowed on the groundplaces of the Orange Market.
– Be respectful of the shop windows of neighbouring retailers you are standing against.
– Park your car as much as possible on the Burgemeester van Hoofflaan, so that parking spaces remain free for our visitors.
– Unsold goods and waste should be taken away by the participant himself.
– Please leave your ground space clean and tidy afterwards.
MARKET STALLS
– From 07:30, market stalls may be erected and set up.
– The market stalls are numbered. Make sure you stand at the right stall.
– Motor vehicles and trailers are not allowed in the centre, including for loading or unloading.
– Racks or other props should not exceed 1.40 metres in height.
– Commercial trade is not allowed on the Orange Market stalls unless a commercial market stall has been rented.
– The sale of live animals, alcohol, food and beverages is not allowed on the market stalls.
– Be respectful of the shop windows of neighbouring shopkeepers you are standing against.
– Park your car on the Burgemeester van Hoofflaan as much as possible, leaving parking spaces free for our visitors.
– Unsold goods and waste should be taken away by the participant himself.
– Please leave your market stall clean and tidy afterwards.
FINAL NOTICE
In all cases where these house rules do not provide or are unclear, the organisation will decide. Violation of these house rules may lead to removal from the event site and, if necessary, reporting to the police in accordance with Article 461 of the Penal Code.
